Congratulations to Hayden Umble joining the Mitchell Hall of Fame. Hayden was selected 1st team All State Football in Class C2. He was chosen by both the Lincoln Journal Star & Bobby Mills 1,000 yard guy Grand Island Independent. Congratulations Hayden. Thank you for your dedication & loyalty to MPS & MPS Football!
Today at MES's Morning Meeting, we recognized Olivia Maldonado for her outstanding wrestling accomplishments. Olivia is ranked #1 in her weight class by the World of Wrestling National Rankings. Olivia is not only an outstanding wrestling, but a great kid! We are proud of you Olivia!

An immunization Clinic is being provided by Regional West Medical Center Community Health for any Mitchell 6th grader needing vaccinations for the transition to 7th grade on April 25, 2023 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm in the Mitchell Elementary Gym. Sullivan Johnson, Mitchell High School Junior, recently received an award for Film and Emerging Arts, from the University of Lincoln for his participation in the Nebraska Young Artist Awards program. The award recognizes juniors across the state for their skills and talents.

These 6 students represented Mitchell High School FBLA this past week in Kearney at the Nebraska State Leadership Conference. They took competitive tests, attended leadership seminars and connected with other FBLA members throughout the state. These students were a great representation of our local FBLA chapter and Mitchell High School!

The 4th & 5th Grade will have a music concert tomorrow, Wednesday, April 5 at 2:00 pm in the MES gym. You may check your child out with their teacher when the concert is over. Please enter through the northeast gym doors. Doors will open at 1:30 pm.

Mitchell Families: We are going to CANCEL school for today, April 4th due to slick roads and potential snowfall later this morning. There is supposed to be more snow moving in as the morning progresses and the roads, especially to the west, are rather slick. Enjoy yet another day with your families.
