Mitchell Tigers: Mitchell Public Schools intends to have school on Friday, Dec. 16th on a normal Friday Schedule.
We do understand there may be some road closures and continued poor driving conditions. If your child is unable to attend school due to poor weather conditions, please contact the building office in the morning.
Buses will not run on Friday, December 16th.
Mitchell Families:
Due to high winds and continued road closures, we won't be able to have school again today, Thursday, December 15th. Please enjoy yet another day of Family Bonding Time at home. No Tiger Cub Preschool, no activities.
Please remember our road crews as they continue to put in long hours for our safety.
Mitchell Families:
We will try for a 2-hour (10 am.) late start on Thursday, December 15th. This is dependent on the local highways opening to allow for travel. A final decision will be made by 7:30 a.m. but we hope to open our doors! We will operate in accordance with the roads--if they are open, we will be open!
We will NOT be running buses on Thursday.
Conditions vary greatly within our area. If you feel your child(ren) can't make it to school safely, simply call the school office tomorrow morning. We trust parents will make good decisions about their children.
The Elementary Christmas concert will not be held on Thursday and will be cancelled. UP Days (incentive) for elementary students will be rescheduled.
UPDATE: Thursday’s Wrestling Dual is postponed to Friday, Dec. 16 at the Elementary Gym with a start time of 6 pm
Remember to bring a canned food item to get into the dual.

No school on Wednesday, December 14.
We will plan on having our elementary Christmas Concert on Thursday, December 15 at 200 pm. Doors will open at 115 pm. ALL people must enter through the northeast gym doors for the concert.
Mitchell Families: Mitchell Public Schools will not have school on Wednesday, December 14th due to the continued snow and wind. No Tiger Cub Preschool as well.
