Sullivan Johnson, Mitchell High School Junior, recently received an award for Film and Emerging Arts, from the University of Lincoln for his participation in the Nebraska Young Artist Awards program. The award recognizes juniors across the state for their skills and talents.

These 6 students represented Mitchell High School FBLA this past week in Kearney at the Nebraska State Leadership Conference. They took competitive tests, attended leadership seminars and connected with other FBLA members throughout the state. These students were a great representation of our local FBLA chapter and Mitchell High School!

UPDATE: Mitchell Invitational Track Meet will be postponed to April 18
Mitchell Families: We are going to CANCEL school for today, April 4th due to slick roads and potential snowfall later this morning. There is supposed to be more snow moving in as the morning progresses and the roads, especially to the west, are rather slick. Enjoy yet another day with your families.
Mitchell Families: MPS will have a 2 hour late start on Tuesday, April 4th due to slick roads and blowing snow. If we need to adjust that decision, we will make another announcement around 7:30 a.m. Take a little extra time as you drive this morning. No morning PreK, no breakfast served. Let's all hope real spring weather is just around the corner!
