Mitchell Families: Due to the recent increase in snowfall and extreme cold temperatures, MPS will have a 2 hour late start on Thursday, February 23rd.
No Morning Tiger Cub PreK. Full day PreK should report at 10 a.m.
No breakfast served, buses will run accordingly (but may be altered if road closures continue--drivers will make contact as needed.)

Mitchell offers a Transitional Kindergarten for students that turn 5 in May, June, & July. The Transitional Kindergarten is also tailored to students that are not ready for regular kindergarten whether it be academic, social, or emotional. We encourage all parents that have kindergarten aged students to attend.

Congratulations to the Mitchell Elementary HALs Blazing Tiger Bot Builders who competed at the First Lego League Nebraska State Tournament in Columbus on Saturday. They competed in the Robot games and were candidates for the Nebraska Innovation Award. We're proud of how you represented Mitchell Public Schools!
