“The Mitchell FFA had a very good day at the Leadership Development Event in Chadron today. We had 26 kids compete in 9 different events. We came home with 3 champions which qualified 6 more kids to state. Kids placed as follows: Junior Public Speaking, Josie Weiss-9th and Audree Carlson-10th. Creed Speaking, Jaron Houk-24th and Lucas Esselstein-25th. Senior Public Speaking, Landen Murphy-Champion and Emmett Carlson-10th. Cooperative Speaking, Jonah Splichal-Champion and William Thomas-3rd. Extemporaneous Speaking, Jaelyn Yetter-5th and Thomas Esselstein-9th.
